I Didn’t Know Natty Boh.

Some comedy chums are performing stand-up at The Velvet Lounge in DC tonight. Part of the perks of showing up is taking advantage of $2 Natty Bohs.
I have been here four years and I had no idea to what the above was referring. Is Natty Boh a beer or some sort of bite sized crab Po’Boy? No clue.
So of course I googled it and discovered that it’s a domestic beer brewed in Baltimore, Md. The slogan on the label reads: “From the land of pleasant living.” It also states an original brew date of 1885 which lends a skosh more perspective on the slightly misleading slogan.
It creeps me out that he doesn’t have another eye. Nothing about having a missing eye screams “pleasant living” to me.
of course, you know that Natty Boh is the one-eyed bastard brother of the Pringles man.
